CPL’s Screech Arts program wants you to share your love of drama, musical theatre or dance with other like-minded individuals by assisting in the delivery of program activities and creating a fun and supportive workshop environment. If you have excellent communication skills, are friendly and patient as well as possess an interest in supporting people with disabilities to live the life they choose with passion the please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us today!Follow this link to find out more about our amazing Screech Arts Program!As the Screech Arts Assistant you will be:Engaging with clients in a way that encourages their participation in the workshops.Providing guidance, advice and mentoring to clients based on your training and experience in creative arts.Sharing ideas, comments and feedback with staff.Encouraging clients to engage with the activities by building on their confidence and experience.Providing assistance with the delivery of the program as guided by the Screech Arts Facilitator.Conducting friendly and professional encounters with clients.Assisting clients with use of communications devices.This volunteer role will be for a minimum of 6 months with a maximum of 15 hours a week. Days and times will be arranged on application of volunteer role.   Make a difference and support people with a disability to live the life they choose!Please note, at CPL all staff and volunteers must hold either a valid Blue Card with Yellow Card Exemption or a Yellow Card. CPL will assist you to apply for these cards which are free for volunteers.
