Do you have skills in office administration that you would like to share? Would you like to volunteer as part of our friendly, fun community?
Do you love to answer the phone with a cheery hello? Do you know your way around the basics of Microsoft office? If you love interacting with people, and find satisfaction in doing light admin tasks, we can’t wait to welcome you as volunteer Admin Assistant with our CPL Varsity Lakes team!
As the volunteer Administration Assistant you will be:
- Answering the phone, transferring calls, and taking/distributing messages
- Electronic/paper filing and maintenance
- Data entry
- Editing documents
- Recording minutes of meetings
- Use of Fax/copy/scan machine
This volunteer role will be will be based at our Varsity Lakes service for a minimum three months and will take place from Monday to Thursday, 9am to 12pm. You are welcome volunteer for two of these four days, which will be agreed before starting your volunteer role.
The volunteer and CPL will regularly review this volunteer role based on the capacity of the volunteer to assist on an ongoing basis and the needs of CPL.

Please note, at CPL all staff and volunteers must hold either a valid Blue Card with Yellow Card Exemption or a Yellow Card. CPL will assist you to apply for these cards which are free for volunteers.
