Do you have skills in office administration that you would like to share? Would you like to volunteer as part of our friendly, fun community?
Do you love to answer the phone with a cheery hello? Do you know your way around the basics of Microsoft office? If you love interacting with people, and find satisfaction in doing light admin tasks, we can’t wait to welcome you as volunteer Admin Assistant with our CPL Rockhampton team!
As the volunteer Administration Assistant you will be:
- Answering the phone, transferring calls, and taking/distributing messages
- Electronic/paper filing, maintenance and archiving
- Data entry
- Editing documents
- Recording minutes of meetings
- Use of fax/copy/scan machine
- Creation of therapy resources
- Helping with office organisation tasks, e.g. equipment register
This volunteer opportunity will be will be based at our Rockhampton service for a minimum three months. We are flexible about the day/s and time/s of volunteering, up to a maximum of 15 hours per week only.
The volunteer and CPL will regularly review this volunteer opportunity based on the capacity of the volunteer to assist on an ongoing basis and the needs of CPL.

Please note, at CPL all staff and volunteers must hold either a valid Blue Card with Yellow Card Exemption or a Yellow Card. CPL will assist you to apply for these cards which are free for volunteers.
All CPL volunteers and students on placement engaging alongside persons with a disability are required to provide CPL with a certificate of completion for the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, as requested by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. There is no cost to complete this online training.
