Use your creative flair to make young people smile!
Share the joy of play with young people in your community by using your creative skills to translate their imagination into reality. Use your own artistic talents and materials provided by CPL to paint faces into butterflies, superheros and everything in between! Join us as a volunteer Vacation Care Assistant – Face Painter, during school holidays throughout the year and see your impact transformed into happy smiles!
As the volunteer Vacation Care Assistant - Face Painter you will be:
- Using your artistic skills to face paint young people participating in vacation care
- Encouraging clients to enjoy and engage in vacation care activities
- Sharing your creative talent and expertise with clients and staff
- Conducting friendly, professional encounters with clients
You will not be responsible for:
- Any personal support; e.g. manual handling, personal care, administration of medication or meal assistance. These activities will be carried out by qualified support workers.
This volunteer role will take place in Ballina for one hour, weekly, for the duration of the school holidays. The volunteer and CPL will regularly review this volunteer role based on the capacity of the volunteer to assist on an ongoing basis and the needs of CPL.
You will be responsible for organising your transport to and from the location of this CPL role.

Please note, at CPL all staff and volunteers must hold a valid WWCC.
All CPL volunteers and students on placement engaging alongside persons with a disability are required to provide CPL with a certificate of completion for the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, as requested by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. There is no cost to complete this online training.
