Would you like to volunteer at one of our Gold Coast Vacation Care programmes?CPL’s Vacation Care team is looking for an enthusiastic team of volunteers to have fun supporting children and teenagers with disabilities to maximise their independence, learn new skills and have fun with friends!If you are looking to give back over the school holidays and gain real world experience supporting young people aged 6-16 years with a disability to engage with their community, express your interest in this volunteer role today!Vacation Care opportunities will take place in three locations on the Gold Coast; Coomera, Southport Special School and Mudgeeraba Special School. You will be able to select your preferred location on application to this volunteer role.As the Volunteer Vacation Care Assistant you will be:Helping to setup and close down daily activitiesSupporting children and teenagers to fully engage in the Vacation Care programProviding additional support to the group on excursionsAssisting in creating a fun and safe environment for the Vacation Care participants to enjoy!This volunteer role will be from 8 am to 4pm, up to a maximum 15 hours per week, preferably two days per week over the Winter holidays (1st July to 12th July excluding the weekend). We’re more than flexible – ready to suit your availability!Make a difference and support people with a disability to live the life they choose!Please note, at CPL all staff and volunteers must hold either a valid Blue Card with Yellow Card Exemption or a Yellow Card.
